The Challenge
The existing terrace floor had a 3% negative slope, and the old ceramics were extremely slippery when wet. Furthermore, the infinity pool edge of the villa located in the hilly geography of Kalkan required a luxury floor that would provide the warmth of wood but require no maintenance.
Our Professional Solution
First, a polyurethane-based moisture barrier was applied over the old floor insulation. For the load-bearing carcass system, corrosion-resistant painted steel profiles were laser-leveled and welded. Premium ribbed brown composite deck panels with UV resistance, scratch-proof, and anti-slip properties were installed as the floor covering using a hidden steel clip system with zero joint error.

Against the fascinating blue bay of Kalkan, an ultra-premium living area was created that has very high mechanical strength and gives the warm, natural feel of wood when walking barefoot. The water ponding problem was 100% solved.
