The Challenge
The unique 45-degree angle joints of Chevron engineered wood require a millimetric level and flawless craftsmanship on the floor. The elevation difference in front of the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass and intense sunlight made it mandatory to calculate the expansion margin of the wood perfectly.
Our Professional Solution
First, the roughness on the concrete floor was removed and cleaned with an industrial vacuum. The floor was homogeneously saturated with premium polyurethane-based wooden floor glue using a notched trowel. Custom-sized Chevron engineered wood with a natural oak texture was installed, taking the window edge as a reference, interlocking at a 100% miter with zero error.

Combined with the Gocek view, the living room turned into a true architectural masterpiece with the depth added by the Chevron cut and the natural warmth of oak. Thanks to the special polyurethane glue, the risk of stretching or creaking on the floor was completely eliminated.
