The Challenge
Heavy patient traffic in the dental clinic and the point pressure of heavy medical equipment like dental chairs on the floor required serious durability. In addition, an uninterrupted and flawless surface was essential to 100% prevent bacterial growth in the joints.
Our Professional Solution
After leveling the floor with self-leveling screed, high-performance Type T Homogeneous PVC flooring with a 2.0mm thick pure polyurethane protection layer (PUR) was applied. The joints were fused and joined with a thermal welding machine (hot welding cord), obtaining a monolithic surface that will not harbor microbes.
